The stoppers and metal rings at the bottom of all my bathroom sinks look like they're corroding. The finish is wearing away on all of them. Could this be from the previous owners using a lot of drain cleaners over the years? Anyway, was wondering if there's any way to repair them and make them look better without replacing the whole sink.

Any helpful advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Some stoppers can be bought seperately and are pretty much generic. The flange at the drain comes as part of the drain package and usually includes the stopper. You would also need some plumbers putty to seal the new flange. It is a good DIY project. Good luck.
The damage may have been caused by using abrasive cleaners like scouring powder to clean the sinks.
