We have a Moen shower faucet and the water will note turn on. We purchased a new handle cover and popped off the handle cover but can not get the screw out. It just keeps turning. We can only turn the water on and off by using the screwdriver.

Any ideas? I've sent a email also to Moen.

Most likely you will have to grind the head off of the screw to remove the handle. From there you will have to extract the small screw from the end of the cartridge, otherwise you will have to replace the cartridge as well.
