I've got about 10 doors and 4 closet doors to paint with a high gloss white. I'm using a SprayTECH DSP 1620 airless sprayer. I'm just wondering what technique the pros use to spray doors outside. I have to put 2 coats on the doors and I've already put 1 coat on a few of the doors. The problem is I've only got 4 sawhorses and I'd like to paint all the doors at once. Another problem is since it's cool and humid here in FL the doors take hours to dry to the touch, and if I try standing the doors up wards leaning against the sawhorses the wind blows them over (already broke one door this way).

anyone have any special way of spraying doors? mine just isnt working. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums

I have sprayed a lot of doors but don't ever recall trying to spray then out in the open. Do you have a garage or carport you can use? The concrete can be covered up, even the walls if need be. I have never sprayed doors using saw horses. On new construction I prop the doors against each other off of the wall [kind of like dominoes] When it isn't feasable to spray off of the walls I take a step ladder in the middle of the room [or garage, basement] and prop 2 doors on it with the rest leaning against the edges of the doors.
