A friend of mine and I painted my dining room red. We had a terrible time getting even coverage and in the process ended up with some drip marks that look terrible. I was considering trying to sand out the drip marks and repaint just that area but I think that will result in uneven coverage. Does anyone have any suggestions as a fix other than sanding them out and starting over???

Welcome to the forums
Sanding drips is rarely effective. IMO you would be better off scraping the drip off, applying a small amount of spackling to even it out and then touch it up with paint.
Since you used red paint I doubt it will touch up but touch it up first - even if it shows it will give you an even base on which to repaint.
