Heat Pumps and Electric Heating - Goodman Heatpump Robertshaw Stat

:wall: I have a Goodman Phkjo481f heat pump with a HK20-1 heat strip and a Robetshaw 9420 Stat : the heatpump 24v barrier strip shows Y R G W2 O W1 C The Stat shows Y1 R G W2 O E C or Y1 R G W2 O C with W2 jumped to E I know the W2 goes to the heat strip plug and then back to the low voltage defrost relay and W1 goes to the heat strip plug and back to com on the contactor the question is where does W1 from the heatpump go on the stat Thanks Don

W1 and W2 should be tied together at the air handler and go to W2 at the tstat. There is a thermodisc in the W2 control circuit isnt there? It will time the 2nd bank to come on after the first.
