I have a small bathroom maye 16 sq ft of floor surface that had tile on it. I would like to gring away any left over mortor from the tile and refinish the terrazzo. I don't think a normal floor grinder will work in this small space. doeas anyone know of the best way to grind this floor. Will a hand sander with a special pad do the job. Any information on this and any other hints to do this would help. I am a pretty experienced remodeler, i have not messed with terrazzo before.

Restoring Terrazzo is a pretty specialized industry. Seeing that nobody has responded yet I would suggest that you go to www.ntma.com and seek advice from them
