I moved into an older townhome. There are paint streaks and spatter on the bronzed aluminum windows frames (on the interior of the house). Apparently someone was very sloppy. The paint has probably been there for 20+ years. Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the paint without ruining the surface of the window frame?
Thanks, Karen

Welcome to the forums Karen
You might try a product like 'oops' or goof-off' and see if it will disolve the paint splatters. Sometimes carefull use of a knife or razor blade will peel the paint off.
Since the window finish is 20+ years old I would consider repainting them. Most paint stores will have that color [or close] both in spray cans and the formula to mix up a quart of paint.

Oops! and a putty knife
If that doesn't work, it's not coming off
