Termite and Wood Boring Insects - Termites/tenting

Looks like we've got 'em, and we gotta get rid of 'em.....they're going to come tent the house while on summer vacation.....any tips from those out there that have had it done? Our dogs are going to a kennel, and we know about the food. The old lady is concerned about the nerve agent they use, and wants to toss all our dishes and silverware/etc after it's done! I think she just wants some new dishes ;-)

I would suggest anything you have concerns about exposure either be removed from the house or sealed in some sort of container or storage box for your own peace of mind.Also whatever isn't protected should obviously be cleaned well before use.I'd wipe down any surfaces such as countertops and furniture as well.I would also take with you all your clothes and linens.The people doing the work should be able to advise you beyond that.If they can't then you have the wrong people doing the work.
