I stripped a pine table of four coats of paint. It is the natural light color that I like. How can I keep that light color? What finish should I put on it?

If you want it to look like it does now use a latex poly, it won't change the color of the wood like oil base poly/varnish does. Latex poly comes in 3 sheens - satin. semi and gloss.
