In spin all machine did was hum. I took the cover off and let her hum for 5 sec or so and the motor was not turning. I was getting warm. I then took a screwdriver and pushed the belt and it started.
now my question??????? this motor does not appear to have a start capatior that i can see? I looked at the wiring diag. and it may have start windings. Is there a way to test motor. Is the motor just bad? Or is it in the swtich? the washer is 14 months old.
