I have a kenmore washer model#11020702990 that im having problems with. It will fill and start to wash but after a short while it will start to smell like burning and click on and off like it wants to turn off until it finally does. We changed the pump thinking that would fix the problem but it still does the same thing the motor also starts to overheat.I believe it is a direct drive model. Any suggetions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Shorted timer contacts can cause this.....
