I am considering purchasing a brand of laminate flooring from Sams that already comes with the foam underlayment attached to each piece, this seems conveiniant. Is it worth it or should I just shell out the money and the time to lay the real underlayment. Please professional replys only, or anybody else that has used the same stuff regardless of the results.

not sure why you reposted your question? it's been answered - by a professional: thread (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=253626).
if you'll search the forum for "attached pad" or "attached underlayment" you'll find the general consensus is that the attached pad is convenient and works as well, if not better, than the separate pad.
