I had a very nice slate floor installed on a small open deck last fall. The contractor didn't seal it and there is some dried grout and/or cement on some of the tiles. SO my questions are:
1) how do I clean it
2) what do I seal it with and should I wait until warmer weather to do it
3) I noticed that when it is wet it brings out the variations in color so is there a product I could apply to give it that look all of the time?

Home centers and hardware stores sell Sulfamic Acid Crystals. You mix the crystals with water and it will slowly attack the cement that the grout is made of. Scrub the stain a little and it should clean up OK. Keep it away from the grout lines if you don't want to change their color.
They also sell *stone enhancer sealers* that will bring out the natural colors in the stone and hold the color. Be sure the product you choose is for exterior use.:)
