Lost hardwood/plywood base to Katrina. Best/safest way to remove the adhesive (black tar) off the concrete slab. Would rather not use chemicals.

Paint thinner should help loosen the adhesive but it will still require a lot of scraping and elbow grease. Wish you the best in getting your home back to normal.
