Has anyone used this grout before? I just finished grouting my bathroom floor and it's been 48 hours and this stuff is still not dry. I was warned by the lady at Home Depot that this stuff isn't the greatest (but she didn't elaborate) she only said it didn't hold up as well as the grout that you mix manually. I think I may pull this stuff up while it's still gummy and go and buy the powder mixture...what do you think? How long should I give this stuff to dry? What is the normal time to dry? This is my first time tiling and grouting.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Remove it now. It is not grout at all, it's really colored caulk in a bucket. Many people have posted at other sites with the problems they have had with it. If it ever does dry, you will probably find you will need 1 or 2 more applications of this garbage as well to fill pinholes, cracking, and excessive shrinkage.
For a truely stain resistant cement based grout, HD can special order Prism Grout. It's made by Custom Building Products who is the manufacturer of Polyblend Grout which is the in stock bagged grout at HD. Unlike traditional cement grouts with sanded and non sanded versions, Prism is made with very finely ground up glass as the aggrigate in the mix. It also has a water repellent built into the mixture. It cures so dense that stains bead up on the surface.
The beauty of it is that you might really comfuse the HD person when you ask to order it. They might just say "never heard of it" or they might look at the color chart they have and say "That color's not on here"
Here's a link to their site with details: http://www.custombuildingproducts.com/ProductCatalog/Grout/prism.aspx?user=arc&lang=en
Since you might cause them confusion, take CBP telephone # with you so the HD person can call them if need be Ph 800-272-8786

Do I have to order this other grout or will the grout made by this same supplier be okay? I guess I have the time if I have to get all this grout up...THANK GOD it's a small bathroom. I wish the HD girl would have elaborated on the texture and how truly crappy this grout was. GAWD!
