I own a 1996 York, 1 1/2 ton, heatpump. Model #
E1FD018S06B.
In the York troubleshooting guide for Emergency Heat problem says,
if Model E*FB-light on = Malfunction or Model E*FH-light flashing =
Malfunction.
I do not know which is my model and the red light comes on when I
turn on Emergency Heat but does not flash. My heatpump works fine but the
emergency heat does not.( I opened up the inside unit in the basement
and the heating element would not come on.)
Is this something I can repair, like replace the heating element or
should I not worry about the emergency heat?
Thanks, Tommm
