I have an iron filter in my house with no directions. I've deterimed it has a Fleck 2510 controller on it. What should the pins be set at for backwashing times, regeneration etc.? It has a seperate container for the Potassium perm....

Thank you,
Mike

Hi Mike,

You'll need to determine how much iron is in your water and the hardness (plus any other water quality issues) and the tank size/capacity of media to figure out how often it should backwash. See if you could get someone to test it for you or take it to a lab and shoot back the results for more info. Thanks.

I know it needs to be backwashed every 1000 gallons but my concern is the regeneration times rinsing out the potassium permagate etc.......
