Hi guys quick question? My bathroom shower has a leak so no big deal I have replaced these before, Hot and cold so I go to Home depot pickup some new seals change both inside the stem and all outside seals and for some reason or other it still leaks any suggestion, faucet are Price Fixtures. Any help would be great. Thanks Dan

HI, Try some teflon tape on the threads on the seats.

I would suspect that the seats in the valve body are bad. With the stems out, look down the tube, and you will see the seats. You will need a seat removal tool to remove them. This is a common tool sold at most supply houses. Remove the seats and replace them. What happens is, they deteriorate to the point where the new washers no longer make a good seal against them. Hope this helps. Errr.. this is assuming that the leak is a faucet drip out of the spout, not out of the handle area.
