i wasconsidering purchasing the laminate flooring from Sams i dont recall the brand name, but it comes with the foam backing already on it. is this ok or should I dish out for the real foam backing that comes in a roll. Also if there is uneven areas in the sub floor isnt there some kind of filler that I can pit down to level a certain area??? I could sure use some intel Thanks

I've found that attached cushion has less hollow noise associated with floating floors. You still need a moisture barrier if going over concrete, or a wet crawl space.
