Some of the new HD tv's have a 15 pin VGA connection. How would you hook this up to your computer? Is there a limit on how long the cable should be?50 ft.? I would like to use digital pictures as a slideshow.

You would connect it to your Video card as if it was a monitor. Depending on the brand of your TV, youmay have to go to your menu to set it up. As for the cable length, you can go up to 100' with out any issues, it's just the cable gets expensive that long.

It's probably easier and cheaper to just burn a cd from the pc and play/slideshow them on an HDTV. You need to archive the photos anyway.
