I tried to find some info on line, came up empty. I have never been around this type of unit..
Is there a low voltage wire going back to the furnace to turn on the furnace?

Yes there ia a low voltage wire going to the furnace from the unit. Which I believe goes to a solonoid and then to the blower. When I turn the humidistat on I think I can hear that solonoid click.

Honeywell HE420 Troubleshoot
Yes there is a low voltage wire going to the furnace. I believe it goes to a solonoid then to the blower unit. When I turn the humidistat on I can hear a click that comes from that solonoid. However the blower does not go on as it should. Thanks
If you are hearing it clicking, then I would check to see if you are getting power to it for the blower.
Take a meter and take a reading.

Does the fan run in heating itself?
How about when you turn the t-stat fan switch to "ON"?
If you are getting power at the switch, and motor, then the motor itself is bad.

It does not sound like it is wired properly.
The solenoid should trip only when the humidistat trips AND the furnace blower is already running. The humidistat does not activate the furnace blower.
