I have been looking to find a curtain rod for tab top curtains for my front window and and the longest I can find is 8 ft. This is a living room window and I need at least 102". Someone suggested that I buy 2 - 6' wooden poles and attach them together then cut evenly on each side to the correct length. There has to be an easier way.

JC Penney has rods up to 120", both metal and wood. Bed, Bath and Beyond also sells longer length rods. You could use PVC pipe and spray paint, but it still needs to be cut.

That would be great but I live in a rural area, we have a Penney's but they do not sell drapes. If all else fails, I could order from the catalog. Thank you for the suggestions.

You can order online, also, thru their website. I put the link in the above post.
