Hi,
We recently had a plaster ceiling removed from our 250 year old house to expose the beams. We now have sheetrock between the beams. I am about to seal the gaps between the sheetrock and the beams which in some places are almost an inch wide.
I want to re-insulate the crawl spaces above after I seal these gaps.
What products should I use. I am leaning to using a foam backer rod followed by joint compound. Any suggestions ?
