I stripped a old piece of furniture down to the bare wood. When I went to prime it pink started to bleed through in certain sections. I am using a Latex primer. I even tried Kilz and it bleeds through that to. Could some one please help me.

Most latex primer is not a sealer, it's just a primer
Your project needs a sealer, or sealer/primer

Kilz makes a number of products, including a latex primer
I'm not sure which one you used
If you used Original Kilz (oil-based) and it still bled through, then you need to move on to a shellac-based primer
I can personally and professionally recommend Zinsser's BIN

If it was any of the latex Kilz, then you still need to kick it up a notch
Either to the solvent-based Original Kilz, or, if you are buying a new can anyway, two notches to the BIN

Please keep in mind the sealer/primer doesn't have to be white like a top coat, it just has to block the bleed through and help the color coats adhere

Please use caution, fresh air, and a respirator with any solvent-based (non-latex) sealers

Thanks I went out and got the Zinsser's BIN that you recommened and it worked great!
