Does it have longevity?

I have heard that it doesn't but I've never used it.

It depends on the attached cushion. If its a black rubber foam or a urethane foam, or an enhancer back. There are alot of variables.

Daniel is right, as usual. A variety of different attached cushions are used. Some excellent, and some not so good.

look for one that looks like 1/4" felt.
