I'm redoing my oak kitchen cabinets with Minwax PolyShades stain and polyurethane in one. They're turning out a beautiful shade of mahogany. The finish looks good and seems nice and tough. Would it be better to go ahead and use some sort of clear coat over the polyshade? If so, what would I use? Thanks!

I would. The tinted poly is the same type of poly as clear but if/when tinted poly gets scratched or worn you are removing some of the color. Clear poly will protect the color coat.
