I'm changing my contactor from a single pole to a two pole and i need to make sure a wire it the right way can anyone help me out (i using a furnas 2 pole and its a rudd unit ) :wall: thxs...

I don't advise changing from a single to a double pole contactor. Many compressors use one leg of the 240 volts, constantly thru the windings as a heater to keep the compressor warm. If the unit was factory equipped with a single pole contactor, that is what should go back in.

I agree with Grady on this. I know lot of older Trane uses this set up as a crankcase heater.

You could just hook the wire feeding it to both side of one pole and it will be fine.
