Hi I have a Mitsubishi Tv that has hung in there with me since 1995. Last night I turned it on and it appeared to be in a weird Letterbox mode. Only the middle of the screen which would have picture was white with black letterbox border. I tried to change channels but even though the tv blinks like it is changing channels, the image never changes on the screen. This happened when I tried to change channels on the tv itself and witht he remote and a universal remote. I tried to disconnect the cable and I still get the same problem. Any clue what has happened? Or do I need to start shopping for a new TV? Thanks for any info.
