I had someone installa new airhandler for me. It is the model listed below
American Standard Model TWE031E13FB1
Mfg 9/04

The external unit is
Rheem 10 seer
Mod RPKA-031JAZ
Compressor
R.L.A. 14.7/14.7
L.R.A. 84
Factory Charge 79oz

When he installed it he said he had to add a lot of freon.
Now in the heat mode the coils on the inside of the airhandler vibrate excessively.
It heats weel.
Could it be overcharged?

It's possablie you got a mix/match system and overcharged..

Who is "He"? A friend or a Pro?

Does he do this for a living?

He is a pro and a friend(I thought).
Now he doesn't return calls.
I have checked with American standard and all they would tell me is the systems do match up well

Ok, if A/S says it's a match, now I am going to point to over charge.

I'd give him a couple more calls, otherwise, guess you'll have to bite the bullet, and call another dealer to check the charge out.

That's why I say no to friends on doing major project, even tho they want to save money, but I don't think it's worth losing a friendship over.
