I am preparing to side my masonite sided 1970's house in the Northeast.
Assuming it makes total sense to add insulation, what do I get the most bang for my buck - cheaper styrofoam or more expensive foam sheets?
Is Tyvek and Tyvek joint tape or some other wrap worth the cost and effort?
I also am assuming exterior walls have signficant insulation but can blow in more if that makes sense.
