I have installed and rewired a apirlaire 700 humifier & 8750 tstat to my weather king 80pj furnance w/ ac. I recently had 2 situations in which the tstat went a little crazy-
1st - calling for heat with no response from furnance - all was working fine prior to this - all worked fine after turning tstat off then on again???
2nd - after furnance was heating then the blower remained on (tstat set for blower extention) tstat blanked out then came on again with the blower off
I read the furnance manual and it stated that most "non current robbing" tstats are compatible with the IFC. could this the problem as the 8750 requires a power source.
the tstat is wired for a 5 wire single stage furnance w/ ac as recommended by manufactuer

What happens if you turn off the fan extension? (Not needed for gas heat, furnace itself runs longer to cool down)

All wire hooked up right matching letters to letters?

How are you controling the humidifer? (Where you getting power from?)
