Hello,
I would like to find out how ressesed cans are centered into a 2x2 Drop ceiling panel? Would you put the ceiling up first then install the cans or vice versa?

I think some cans have tabs that hold it into the drop ceiling panel, in which case you can rough it in to the general location, cut the whole, and install it.

There is hardware for this type of installation at any elec. wholesaler.
You cut the hole, set the tile, set the fixture from the top and attach the clamps to the "T" bar.
