I think I'm going to order a Westhollow engineered natural oak floor. ifloor.com doesn't have any transition strips to match. their tech/salesman says that I can find it locally. Is white Oak (natural) transition strip easy to find or is he just trying to make the sale. I have 20 feet of floor that needs to meet up with ceramic tile and 3 feet that needs to meet up with carpet. Should I be looking for a floor that has matching transition pieces?

That is quite common nowadays. The color is usually not a problem.

Matching up the thickness could be, or it will have to be modified on site.

For thin gluedown engineereds, I rarely use a transition strip at carpet.

By "locally" they mean go to a retailer in your area, and order it. Distributors won't sell directly to the public, or an installer, without a tax I.D. #

Thank You both for replying. I'll go to some local flooring stores and see what I can find.
