Hi guys I hope you can help me out here. I just recently bought my first house and in this house is a Lennox gas furnace that is probably (i'm guessing) as old as the house.(about 60 years?) Before we actually moved in there were no problems. Now that we are moved in, for some reason, there are 2 vents that will not give any heat. This furnace I should add is not a blower type. It is huge and has a huge vent hood on top of it that I am guessing distributes the heat through the vents(not blows through). I have checked and all the dampers are open as well as the vents that do not give heat. Thanks in advance for any help.

Damper could be closed in the duct run.
You could add a booster fan to the ducts that don't have enough flow.

what you are describing is a gravity fed furnace. no blower. no a/c. this is easily fixed. GET A NEW FURNACE.
