I havea cheap table saw - a $99 Ryobi from HD. It works fine, and my bench is built around it so I really dont want to swith but I do need a dust collection system.

The problem is, this saw doesnt come with an adapter for a shop-vac. Ive tried to simply duct tape the hose in place but I cant sem to get it right. I have a bucket under the tablesaw that cathes anything that falls but as I rip something, the dust flys frm the top as ell.

I imagine a dust collection system cathces virtually everything.

How can I rig this so the shop-vac is situated correctly. Imnot even sure where the dust collection adapter is on a saw that has one.

Thanks.

Try Rockler catalog (Rockler.com) They have all the hoses, diverters, blast gates, collection baffles, etc. Maybe you could find something you could use on your saw. I've tried the bags, and all the things you did, but I finally had to have a pan built for the bottom of my saw at a sheet metal company with a take off for my vacuum. It works ok, but I believe getting the right thing would be best. Good luck.
