I want a larger doormat than those I've seen and it would be nice to have a color that matches my trim. I saw a doormat that incorporated what looked like indoor carpet, though I don't know if the fabric was different in any way.

A nylon indoor carpet looked more like what I want than other things I've seen so far. Should it hold up OK?

i'm not sure what you're asking......... :confused:

is the question that you're wanting to put it outside? if so, is it a covered area, or totally exposed to all the elements??

Yes, I want it for the front porch, which has a little roof but is otherwise outdoors. We don't have snow, but we get some rain, wind and sun. Would an indoor carpet do OK?
