After much research on this site and others, I had the Aprilaire 600 installed in the summer. It was installed correctly but it's not working. The guy who installed it as a side job worked for a big HVAC company- it's all hooked up right because my neighbor has one and he knows what he's doing but can't figure this out. However the installer is long gone and quite sick. I spent about $600 for this whole thing and we're drying up in Colorado- I don't want to call an HVAC company and pay more !!
WATER IS ONLY TRICKLING INTO THE HUMIDIFIER- not enogh to do what it's supposed to do ! Any suggestions PLEASE !!!

What type of valve is used? saddle? Old water pipe?

hard water? soft water?

did you check to make sure the shut off valve is open? (close and open to make sure nothing is plugged in the valve.

orfice clean?
