My basement has had 16"o.c. steel studs installed, and my remodeler says the insulation is only 15 1/2" wide. He says that the 16 1/2" will be too big, I say the 15 1/2 is a bit small. Can someone recommend a brand with the correct 16" size for the steel studs? He seems not to know of one in my area, Central Kentucky.
A second question is: Does the insulation for steel studs differ in the facing it has?
I'd really like some feedback here. Like to discuss with remodeler. Thanks so much :)

I couldn't find insulation at Home Depot or Lowes for steel studs. Called a local lumberyard and they said they could order it. I believe Mansville or Owens Corning shows it on the web site. I haven't ordered yet so don't know about the facing.

To anyone who tried to help, thank you.
Owens Corning does not seem to make full 16" insulation for steel studs. CERTAINTEED does make it. Don't believe I can get it through either Home Depot or Lowe's. I am investigating other sources, such as the suggested vendors on the Certainteed website (Great website for a novice by the way!)
I am so glad I was finally able to find it since I was not satisfied with the standard 15, or 15 1/2" insulation. These do not really fit the steel studs.

FG should only be used in basements when installed in combination with foam board on the walls. The foam board does most of the work anyways ;) So installing mis-sized fg should not be a problem:

It's a bit of a read, but at least read some of the captions on the photos and such, and distinguish between good assemblies, and bad assemblies:
