Where could I buy a used Ge dryer timer? The dryer is about 10 years old and still works good but 2 of the cycles on the timer does not work anymore. A new timer cost over a $100 and I can buy a new dryer for under $300. I just hate spending $100 for a timer on a dryer that old. If I can't find a used one I will just use in the cycles that do work till they go out and buy a new dryer. Thanks

I did a search on the internet under "used appliance parts" & there are a few places out there to buy used parts. However, most of the prices aren't much better priced than new & with so many different timers being used on the many different models of GE dryers it might be hard to find the correct one for your dryer. I would sooner spend the extra & go with new. At least you know it will last for many years. Who knows how long a used part will last? Try doing a search under "appliance parts". There are many sites selling new parts. See who has the best price for your timer. Dave
