Kitchen Large Electric Appliances - maytag washer pav2300

I have a maytag washer model pav2300 that will fill with water but will not continue on in the cycle. It continues till fill and not move on into the next process. I can turn the selection dial to get the washer to the next cycle but it will not continue on at any point. It will perform any of the operations i turn the dial to but it will not go forward on its own. Any ideas? I am guesing it is some sort of relay problem but have no clue where to begin. :wall:

Will it stop after filling with water do nothing on its own ?? ... if so needs a timer :coffee:

no it will not stop filling on its own.

then the next step would be the water level pressuse switch... open console and remove hose at switch and blow thru it ... this is to check for a blockage at the tub... reconnect and set on lowest setting and try... if still overfills then needs that switch..
