I just moved to my house, and I have an ADT Focus 32 and DSC 832 Panels installed and a large amount of sensors like maybe 6+

Well I have a few problems if someone can help me.

I moved in and was never told what the key code is, I want to reset if it.
And we lost power in the house and the trouble light is always ON (well I think this is what did it, it might be me unpluging it I dont know)

If im missing anything please contact me

Reset PassCODE
Turn off TROUBLE LIGHT

Also thats for reading this... and for the help in advance...

Im completely new to this stuff and dont feel the need to call a company up and pay them for something I can probably do...

Thanks again

Focus 32 is just ADT's relabel of the DSC Power 832 (PC5010) panel.

Go here, to DSC's site for the user manual. (http://www.dsc.com/assets/manuals/Power832_v2-0_UM_EN_NA_29002679_R000.pdf) That way you can interpret what the trouble display is. Most likely it's clock needs setting, and possibly low battery.

Try this:
LED Keypad
Step 1 From any keypad enter [8][6321].
• The ‘Program’ light will flash to indicate you are in programming
• The ‘Armed’ light will turn on to indicate the panel is waiting for the 3 digit Section number to program

LCD Keypad
Step 1 From any keypad enter [8][6321].
The Keypad will display ‘Enter Section’ followed by three dashes.

Just press # until it returns to run mode, for now.

In either case, if that code works, we can help you reset your master code, and clear the trouble display.

It took some time, but what I did was start entering the code one at a time.
I was lucky and was able to hit it in about 15-20 minutes.

Otherwise, you will need to reset the entire system to factory default and reprogram the system.

Your actual panel, going by the photo, is a PC1555 (Power 632). So you will need that manual instead from the DSC website.

I suspect that your system was assembled of scrounged parts. Try the program sequence with 5555 instead. Failing that, unless you are willing to key in code after code, the only choice is a hardware default.

First do this test: Power down, AC and battery power and power back up. Listen at the motherboard. If you hear the relay on the motherboard click about 10 times, the the panel has been Installer Locked, and basically there is no practical way short of a lucky guess to reset the panel.

You will need an installer manual for a PC1555 before you do this. DSC programming is obtuse enough to try to do it with out a reference.

If it doesn't, then do the following to default the panel:

1. Remove AC and battery from the panel.
2. Remove all wires from the Zone 1 and PGM1 terminals.
3. With a piece of wire short the Zone 1 terminal to the PGM1 terminal.
4. Apply AC power to the main panel.
5. When Zone Light 1 is lit on the keypad the default is complete.
6. Remove AC power from the control
7. Reconnect all original wiring and power up the control.
NOTE: AC power must be used to power the panel. The panel
will not default if only the battery is used.

This will wipe everything out. All of the zone settings (it looks like you only have five) time settings, everything goes back to factory default.

If you can, figure out what the zones do before you do this, because you will have to recreate their correct settings.
