The house we recently bought came with a Whirlpool Gold QuietPartner III dishwasher (no idea how old. Model # GU2300XTKB0, SN FL4901434)

It leaves sediment on the plates and in the cups. We've tried different detergents with little success as well as a cleaning agent for dishwashers to supposedly clean the inside of the dishwasher. The water is quite hot and the water level is good too. Are there any filters that should be cleaned out or does anyone have any other suggestions?

thanks

Don

Are you getting the water pressure to wash... when it starts open does quickly and see if its sparying hard... if not pump screen is clogged/chopper screen is clogged/... try 2 cups of bleech .. let set 15 mins then run sanitize cycle and no heat dry... take out the lower rack and remove lower spray arm and tube on bottom that goes to rear feed tube.. take out torx screws the you can lift off th top screen.. below that are 2 more torx screws.. remove them also as they cover the chopper... it may be broken and clogged.... reinstall in reverse... good pic on sears.com under parts section... just put in you model number... :coffee:

ok first of all the best cleaner I have found is DISHWASHER MAGIC use a cheap detergent no need to buy the expensive stuff with a rinse agent in it most of those release the agent too soon or too late and it dries on your dishes causing a film on your dishes also if you have hard water you might want to invest in a water softner.
