I am having problems with my GE Potscrubber. The dishwasher will cycle fine, but will not fill with water. I have had to have it fixed for this before but cannot remember what they did. I thought that something was just loose but what.

Either water valve is bad or float is hanging up. Try reaching inside dishwasher on left front & move float up & down a few times. Sometimes the float shaft gets a build-up of detergent on it. Dave

Thanks for the advice dave. I did check that and it is fine. However, I looked at the button panel and found that the wires were burned and melted. Do you think I should get a new washer or replace the wires and button assembly?

Sounds like an expensive fix. Maybe time to replace with new? At least get an estimate on parts & go from there. Dave

The Switch is 50 and I have to wait until tomorrow to see if I can get the wiring harness. It actually melted 2 wires together. Glad it didn't start a fire!!!
