I recently bought a small cider press. It's very rusty & I wondered if there was something I could use to clean it up. It would have to be something non-toxic since some of the rusted parts would be touching the apples & the cider.

If metal parts can be removed, it would be best. Naval jelly is an excellent rust remover on metal. After wiping away the rust remover, wash in hot, soapy water.
