I bought a used whirlpool and it ran fine until today. It seems that it stoped spinning in spin mode and makes a very loud clicking noise. The water does drain it just doesn't spin but makes that clicking noise. Anyone have an idea about what it might be??

Could be the coupler broke. It will still pump water out but won't turn tranny.
See my reply to "SeekerOfJustice" thread that I answered yesterday on his Whirlpool washer. That way I don't have to type out the instructions again on washer shell removal. I'm a one finger typer. Dave
