As part of a kitchen remodel we created a 1st floor laundry room. We put down a floating cork floor. I am now reading that my HE4t washer should not be installed over a floating floor due to the potential for severe vibration during the spin cycle. One recommendation is to remove the cork floor under the washer and replace it with a section of 3/4 to 1'' plywood or cement board that is secured to the floor joists. Will this do the trick? Any other ideas?
Thanks!!

The more solid the floor the better.... if you also got the pedistals to do with them make sure the rubber tabs are installed in all 4 corners between unit and pedistal.. :coffee:

we are going to stack the washer/dryer. Should I put a rubber pad under each of the feet of the washer? Will this help isolate the vibration?
