New (approximately 1 year 2 days old, go figure!), yesterday an unbalanced load cause the automatic leveling leg to collapse on the rear right side of my washer. Thinking it was the old style legs, I tilted the washer slightly onto the other side and proceeded to try and turn the collapsed leg down because it appeared to have receded as far as possible into the machine. Suddenly it popped out, squishing my finger between it and the floor #$%@#^! Now that side is stuck all the way out and the other side is in. I can not move them. Is there an easy way to release them or fix this? Is this common and do you think I may have this problem each time a load is off balance? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

Unless you damaged something at the back self-leveling legs all you usually have to do is tilt the whole washer forward a few inches & let the back drop down. They level themselves. Dave
