My dryer seems to be drying ok, but the timer does not advance in the specific drying modes ie.cotton permapress. If I put it on the timed dry the timmer will advance. Could the problem be the moisture sensor? I have tried to clean it. I have noticed if I remove the clothes after they are dry and continue with the cycle the dryer the timer will advance.Could the sensor be seeing moisture that is not there or very low moistures? The vent and exaust system has been cleaned. Is there any way of checking the moisture sensor?

Thanks

I looked your model # up but could not find the moisture sensor you are refering to listed anywhere. In the back console by the timer is a resistor that I believe has something to do with advancing the timer as the clothes dry in one of the auto cycles. The resistor part # is WE4M255. I found it at apwagner.com for under $10.00. Dave
