We traded our RV, the prior owners had a spring cord with sheers then bright orange curtains over the top that didnt even close. I put in mini blinds last season with a topper but found them to get terribly dusty and dirty, its a seasonal lot so it stays there all year at the campsite. Lots of gravel lanes and dust in the summer. My teenage daughter spends a lot of time there on her own I was wondering if there were any other ideas that would be suitable. I would like privacy but like something easier to clean.
Thanks.
Thanks.

You could get a track system from an RV supplier place and hang new curtains, or a Roman or a Roller shade. If you could get them blackout lined, that would be best for an RV.

Both blinds sound neat, I think that may be the way to go, only concern being if the windows were open in the warmer weather on a breezy night how could you stop them from banging against the window frame and wall of the trailer? What do you think of just a topper/valance with the blinds? thanks for the info and you opinion its much appreciated. :)

Romans and roller shades are usually weighty enough so they don't flap around in the breeze. I've never seen one that did, however, I'm basing this on custom shades. If they're a flimsier readymade, then you could always attach a small weight at either end (on the back) to keep it still. If you like valances, by all means add one, especially if you get roller blinds, since you'd want to hide the hardware at the top and would also look more decorative.
