Hi! I am installing a shower. What are the required dimensions when anchoring taps and diverters inside the studded wall? I have 1/2 inch drywall and the shower wall is that sheet plastic. Is there a rule of thumb to use for this? Thanks.

kiaville, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
I am a bit confused with your terminology. What are taps and diverters? You have to know what the center to center measurements on the shower valve are before installing the piping. You also need a 2" drainline in most areas and a vent. Please let us know what else you need to know. Thanks and Good luck with your project.
